Are you the one? 是Timo Tolkki第二张个人专辑《Hymn To Life》中的主打曲目。

Timo Tolkki是芬兰前卫金属团 Stratovarius 的主音吉他手。该曲的主唱是Within Temptation的Sharon，她的声线嘹亮清越，以Timo Tolkki已入化境的吉他伴奏，和着背景中的金属击打，化为天籁之音，直达心灵的最深处。尤其是中间高潮部分的那段SOLO，更是让人肝肠寸断。

在网上搜索该歌词的中文翻译，发现流传的都是直译的版本。虽然翻译得美轮美奂，但勾画的是一个在黑暗中等待真爱的怨妇，只是让人觉得凄美。我对此有着不同的见地:

该歌曲的意境在于点亮而不是照亮。

真爱的价值并不在于仅仅是照亮对方，而是将对方点燃，互相照亮。幸福是携手共创，而不是靠哪方给予的。

虽然英文歌词中多次出现创伤，阳光的字眼，但表达的是希望能有真爱和自己休戚与共，度过人生中的困难和黑暗，迎来生命中的阳光，迎来最终徜徉于星际的自由和浪漫。

因此觉得原翻译中的萤火，夜空，深海这种浪漫的译法有些唐突，失去了真正的意境。
